Minnesota Farmers CARE

This year’s “Minnesota Farmers CARE – Animals • Environment • Food • Family – Committed to Agriculture while Respecting the Earth” display will present facts about the four key corners of agriculture, and how farmers are involved in each step to feed your family.

Explore interactive exhibits such as the taco salad garden, talk with a real farmer about their farm and ask questions about agriculture. You may also read new fun facts about agriculture, complete an educational scavenger hunt and win a thermal lunch bag.

The Case IH Ag Cab Lab – Combine looks like a combine, sounds like a combine and fair attendees can “drive” the combine in the field through a gaming feature. State fair visitors are invited to take a ride and collect a certificate at the end of the ride.

The Case IH Ag Cab Lab – Tractor will be on display at the CHS Miracle of Birth Center and is located on the Coliseum side of the building (on the right as you enter through the silo).

Story Time and Prizes

Each weekday of the fair, excluding Labor Day, there will be story time in the Farm Bureau building at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Three featured Minnesota-connected authors will read their agriculture stories. Children can have the opportunity to register to win one of these books each day of the fair. Adults may register to win a rain barrel.
